Drop In, Farming in Protected Landscapes Advice
Want to speak to us about the Farming in Protected Landscapes funding programme?
Drop in at the village hall any time between 5.30 to 8.30pm to ask us questions. Members of our team will be able to talk to you about the programme, it’s funding priorities and answer any question you have.
If you have a project idea in mind you can book a 20 minute slot to speak to one of our advisers about it. You’ll be able to talk through your project idea, get advice on its suitability and ways you might be able to strengthen your proposal. Our advisers will also be able explain the application process and the next steps that you need to take.
To book a 20 minute slot in advance please email shropshirehillsaonb@shropshire.gov.uk, or telephone 01743 254740.
Slots will also be available to book at the event, subject to availability.
We are hosting four drop ins across the AONB and are encouraging farmers and land managers who farm in the Shropshire Hills AONB to come and talk to us about this funding opportunity. The final two dates and venues are:
- Tuesday 3rd May, Hope Village Hall, 5.30 - 8.30pm
- Thursday 19 May, Cardington Village Hall, 5.30 - 8.30pm
The programme is for one-off farming projects that can demonstrate benefits to climate, nature, people and place. Find out more about Farming in Protected Landscapes here.
Event starts at 5:30pm.
