Hedge planting

This winter as part of the Hedgerow Heroes project, CPRE Shropshire will be planting nearly 7km of new native mixed-species hedgerow on over 25 sites, many of them in the Shropshire Hills. 

We need your help to plant native mixed species hedges at Greater Poston Farm where the landowners are doing much for wildlife and biodiversity. We're planting over 3 days, planting starts at 10am (gather on site at 9.45am) and we are usually done by 2pm.

Bring a friend or family member and if you cannot spare a whole morning, come along when
you can! Tools are provided as is guidance/help if you have not planted trees before.

Planting is a great experience, working outside in interesing locations with like-minded people
doing something really practical for nature in lovely Shropshire Hills countryside. Hot drinks/
refreshments provided.
