Meet the Farmer walk, Chapel Lawn

Join farmer, James Middleton, and Helen Oliver & Cath Landles from the Shropshire Hills National Landscape team on a farm walk to find out about farming in the Shropshire Hills.

James Middleton farms at Chapel Lawn in the Redlake Valley. He is an upland livestock farmer and grows some arable crops. James will share his story covering what he does and how does it (from field to fork), the challenges and opportunities of farming in the Shropshire Hills and how his farming practices benefit the environment and local landscape.

A free event, aimed at non farmers. We will be walking over farmland and rough tracks, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

A small donation is appreciated for tea and cake which will be available after the walk.

Sorry, no dogs as we’ll be around farm animals.
