The Advisory Committee is a new part of our structure from February 2026 following a review during 2025. 

It has the formal status of a ‘Joint Advisory Committee’ to the two local authorities – Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council. There are 12 members and its purpose is to provide scrutiny of the National Landscape Team’s work and advise the Councils regarding the designated area.
